At Renewed, we offer several events each year, geared towards treatment providers as well as the community at-large. From clinical training opportunities to fun and engaging musical events, our goal is to bring our community together in creating a path to renewed health for those seeking recovery. 1.31.25 – Professional Lunch & Learn

Event Description: Make plans to join Renewed and Monte Nido for a complimentary CE credit lunch & learn featuring Dr. Rebecka Peebles, MD, FAAP, and Nathalia Trees, MS, RD, CEDS-C! Dr Rebecka Peebles is the Vice President of Adolescent Medicine at Monte Nido. She joined there after 13 years at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the University of Pennsylvania, where she was an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, specializing in adolescent and young adult medicine. Nathalia Trees is the Vice President of Nutrition Services at Monte Nido and a Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian and Supervisor specializing in the treatment of adults and adolescents with eating disorders.  Nathalia’s experience spans over 13 years in medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education, public speaking, and eating disorder-related research.

Audience: Clinicians & professionals in the eating disorders field

Topic: “Weight Inclusive Care in Eating Disorders Treatment: How to Help ALL Your Clients Feel Valued, Heard, and Seen”

Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this activity participants will be able to:

  1. Define the principles in weight-inclusive care and how they can be utilized for clients with eating disorders.
  2. Identify and correct weight suppression in your patients with eating disorders.
  3. Examine and minimize weight bias in your practice.

CE Hours: 1 CE hour will be available for NBCC, NASW & TAND attendees. Certificates of attendance will also be available.

21st Annual Renewed Eating Disorders Conference

Event Description: This award-winning conference is geared towards professionals who treat eating disorders or those professionals interested in learning more about the treatment of eating disorders. The purpose of the conference is twofold: 1) to offer continuing education to professionals in the field and 2) to foster a collaborative networking experience for professionals interested in the treatment of eating disorders and related conditions.
