Welcome to BalancED!
BalancED is our free community yoga program. Classes are offered throughout the year. The focus of each class is body positivity! Participants are invited to join at any point to explore mindfulness and self-acceptance through the practices of yoga and meditation. No previous experience is necessary — all levels are welcome. Participants are required to provide their own yoga mats.
This program is intended for all genders (ages 18+).
- Classes meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm CST
- Classes meet weekly with the exception of holidays
- Registration is required prior to attending your first class
Classes are currently meeting via Zoom
Classes are free of charge
A one-time registration form is required for all BalancED participants prior to their first class. Once you have registered, there is no need to register again – you may attend as many classes as you wish.

Meet the Instructor
Kristen Kabutan received her yoga certification through Sanctuary Yoga in 2012 after many years of practicing and truly seeing the transformative impact that yoga can have on a person’s life. She also completed her certification in Trauma Informed Yoga in February of 2016. Kristen uses yoga and breathing techniques to assist people with self-regulation, awareness, mindfulness and cultivating peace.
